Erica Silva was born and raised in Livermore, California. She attended Las Positas College, where she earned an Associate of Arts in History and Associate of Arts in Social Sciences. Ms. Silva then transferred to San Jose State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science. While completing her undergraduate studies, she was an active member of Pi Sigma Alpha, Political Society High Honor Society. Before law school, Ms. Silva gained valuable experience as a File Clerk at the Law Offices of John A. Guthrie where she discovered her passion for family law.

Ms. Silva earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law in May 2024. During law school, she was an active member of the Pride Law Organization and Women’s Law Association while working as a Law Clerk at a prominent local family law firm. As a first-generation student, Ms. Silva values mentoring future law students and providing resources for bar exam preparation.

Ms. Silva is dedicated to family law and approaches each case with a holistic and empathetic approach.

In her spare time, Ms. Silva enjoys reading, cooking, and attending concerts and sporting events with friends and family.
